Elisia Brown is a self-taught travel writer and photographer with years of cross-country road trips left in her. Elisia Traveller is a space to capture her journeys and stories in the best way possible.
In 2011, I had my first taste of true independence when at 23 I grew tired of fruitless job hunting and hopped on a plane to Wuxi, China, where I lived and worked for 12 amazing months – I left forever changed. Since then I’ve decided to commit to yearly long-distance international travelling (finances permitting).
This platform is a space to showcase my experiences in a way that is publication worthy, respectful of the cultures/people who embrace me on my journeys and allows me to put my energy into something I genuinely love: travelling and content creation.
I use a 18–55mm starter kit lens, a 50mm and my phone.
Travel bucket list
Ethiopia, Nigeria, Haiti, Brazil, Vietnam, Tibet, Xinjiang, Mongolia, a Trans-Siberian express journey, an Interail trip through Europe and a road-trip through the USA.

* I purchased my digital SLR in 2015 (springtime), so unfortunately I won’t be including footage/photographs from my travels prior to that year (which included Marrakech, Malta, Spain, Bangkok, Koh Phi Phi, Kingston [Jamaica], Guìlín, Guǎngzhōu, Dōngguǎn, Běijīng, Huángshān, Sūzhōu and Wúxī [in 2011 – 2012].) The quality is a bit pants, to be honest.
